Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek
Nepal's most iconic sunrise and the perfect introduction to Himalayan trekking
The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is the most popular short trek in Nepal, and for good reason. Over 5 days you walk through rhododendron forests, traditional Gurung villages, and terraced hillsides before climbing to Poon Hill at 3,210 meters for a sunrise panorama that stretches from Dhaulagiri to Annapurna South. This is the trek that turns first-timers into lifelong trekkers.
